전기효과 TEAM ELECTRICAL EFFECT

INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION

  ”FLOWALL”is a team project at Electrical Effect in Hong-ik University. It is an interactive installation that is comprised of one main module and 14 followings.

When the sound is detected, the main module grows its light as the volume of the sound. 14 following modules detect the brightness of the light from the main module and react by rotating itself. While the modules are interacting with sound and light, the graphic images are projected onto its shiny surface to make the light effects all over the place.

 “FLOWALL”은 홍익대학교의 미디어 아트 소모임인 “전기효과”의 프로젝트 작업이다. 인터렉티브 설치물인 이 작품은 1개의 메인 모듈과 14개의 부가적인 모듈로 구성되어 있다.

소리가 감지되면, 그 소리의 볼륨에 따라 메인 모듈의 빛이 커지고 작아진다. 14개의 나머지 모듈들은 메인 모듈에서 나오는 빛의 밝기에 따라 회전하며 반응한다. 각각의 모듈이 빛과 사운드에 반응하는 동안, 그래픽 이미지들이 모듈의 표면에 영사되어 전체의 벽면에 반사되면서 아름다운 시각효과를 만들어 낸다.
